Late Evening Sun

Let me know if the quality of this image is good enough, please... It's amazing what you can do with just a smart phone! The size of the picture went from 1Mb down to 271 kb using the phone's photo editor! Just think what I would not have learned if the tablet had not gone 'wonky' on me.

  1. Hello Katherine:
We 'clicked' and it enlarged perfectly!

  2. The big difference between photos taken on my phone and others is that they seem to go a bit 'soft focus'. I've always put that down to grease on a very small lense - a tiny lense in fact.

  3. I do admire your skills...I don't think I'd have even found the photo editor....

  8. I love that word "Wonky" much nicer than "fucked-up" can I use it in the US?

    Cheers!

  9. Congratulations in mastering the technology - you're several steps ahead of me !!

The picture is very slightly soft focus but none the worse for that considering the subject matter. What a lovely place you have.

  11. Delightful photo! Looks like a "light at the end of the tunnel" sort of photo.

BTW, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off. Part of the government austerity program. I think that's too austere. But you know governments; once they have something into their heads, nothing is likely to stop them.

  14. I think there's a very slight problem. I can pick out the table, chairs, mats and cutlery, but not the glasses and the bottle of chilled bubbles.

Other than that the photograph and scene are great!

  15. It looks great to me, Broad. A touch of soft-focus seems totally appropriate to such an idyllic scene. :-)

  16. Dear Broad, the photograph looks really fine to me. I read the posting before this one and so learned of your difficulties. Now I see you, in this posting, making lemonade out of lemons! You are quite a fine and wonderful and creative woman with an attitude toward life that makes you a treasure to all of us who read your postings. Peace.
