Blogging from 'ABroad' about many of the different issues that affect the international community at home and abroad in the hope that this will encourage understanding and tolerance.
Molly came the closest. While coffee or tea can be served, the table is actually made to hold a wine bottle as well as stemware... very handy for the back gardens of Britain and France!
Dear Broad, I just read your last three postings. I would have had no idea about the gift. But of course all is clear when I see it set up with the inserted wine bottle.
Your posting on life today and the strife and incivility all around us so reflects my thinking. The hatred of immigrants that is being demonstrated by so many here in the United States is so disturbing. When I was growing up we sold Christmas stamps each year in our Catholic school and they came from Boys Town in Nebraska. They shows a young boy holding a much younger boy on his back. The caption was, "He ain't heavy, Father, he's my brother." The United States and other countries too seem to have forgotten sentiment. Peace.
An interesting and useful item.
ReplyDeleteVery useful!
DeleteI thought I was pretty close, should have spotted the wine connection.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, Joeh. I was surprised you didn't...
DeleteExcellent, though I really wanted it to be a radical charka.
ReplyDeleteAt least this way, I know what to do with it!!!
DeleteBeen extra busy and am now catching up...... Interesting looking table. Have a good day Diane
ReplyDeleteAnd it's ever so practical, too!

ReplyDeleteI cheated!

DeleteRather handy because you can fold it up and put it away when not in use.
ReplyDeleteSorry not to have visited lately - just catching up.
It is always lovely to see you. Yes, it is very easy to store and to put in the car.
